PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction of a reflective photoelectric sensor due to disturbance light, and the occurrence of erroneous lighting in an unconscious condition by positioning the light emitting and receiving section as integral part of the sensor comprising a projector for emitting the predetermined level of a light signal and a light receiver at the front end of an illumination device. CONSTITUTION:A main power switch 24 for an illumination body 13 is provided aft of the right side bottom thereof, or at a position on a line extended aft from the installation position of a light emitting and receiving section 20. The light emitting and receiving section 20 of a reflective photoelectric sensor is positioned on the front of the illumination body 13 as aforementioned and, therefore, free from malfunction due to receipt of incident light (a) from an auxiliary lighting window 32 provided on a rear wall between a top plate 26 and a hanging door 27. In addition, an illumination cover 22 is made of opaque translucent material for brightly lighting forward of the top plate 26. Although the area forward of the top plate 26 is naturally illuminated brightly with light from a fluorescent lamp 14, the shade of the light emitting and receiving section 20 does not appear on the front of the illumination cover 22, when the light emitting and receiving section 20 is positioned at the front. Also, good appearance can be maintained. |
