PURPOSE:To decode an information signal with a decoder by providing a pre- decode means applying reverse signal processing to the information signal to the pre-stage of the circuit and providing a post-encode means applying a prescribed processing to the information signal to the post-stage of the circuit so as only to provide a decoder adaptor to the pre-stage of the circuit. CONSTITUTION:An audio post-encoder 8 is placed after an audio descrambler 7 in an audio descramble circuit, a coded audio transmission signal is fed to a wavelength equalizing filter 9 together with a picture signal from a picture descrambler 5, multiplexed on a picture signal for a vertical blanking period, the analog picture signal with the coded audio transmission signal multiplexed thereon for the vertical blanking period is extracted via a D/A converter 10 and an analog low pass filter 11 and inputted to a decoder. A transmission signal waveform is equalized by placing a waveform equalization digital filter 9 to a point A just before the audio multiplex digital picture signal is converted into the audio multiplex analog picture signal by a D/A converter 10 to prevent the deterioration in the reproduced picture quality due to ringing or the like. |
