PURPOSE:To mold a subject rubber stopper which exercises no influence on packaged chemicals and is excellent in air tightness, by a method wherein a specified stopper blank, made of rubber covered with a chemically resistant resin film adhered to the rear surface thereof, is placed on a bottom plug, and a rubber sheet is placed thereon to mold them into an integral body. CONSTITUTION:A fluororesin film 1, which is larger than the outer diameter of a finished product, and an innoxious unvulcanized rubber 2 are laminated on a bottom plug B, and top force C is clamped for pressurization and heating to form blank substance a1 which has a rear surface covered with a resin layer 1a and an upper surface consisting of a rubber 2a. The periphery of the blank substance a1 is cut for removal to form blank stopper a2 so that a width of a surface part a2, making contact with the upper end of a bottle mouth, is about 2/3 or less width of a finished product. After the blank stopper a2 is then placed in the bottom plug and unvulcanized rubber sheet 3 is placed thereon, the lamination is pressurized and heated by means of top force D having a desired shape to join together the blank stopper a2 and the sheet 3 into an integral body, and forms a laminate rubber stopper A. |
