The axial securing element is in the form of a screw and a disc for a hub which protrudes relative to the shaft on the side to be secured. The screw (4) and disc (3) are connected together secured against rotation. The disc is elastic and/or resilient relative to the screw in the axial direction. The security element can be designed as a wing nut element wherein a screw is pushed into this element. USE/ADVANTAGE - Axial securing element with secured positioning since there is no relative movement between the screw and disc.
