PURPOSE:To obtain the lightweight title absorbing material capable of readily carrying, absorbint water content in a excrementitious matter to solidify the excrementitious matter and letting flow into flush toilet, absorbing odor and hardly floating bad odor around by coating the surface of foam of grains with a deodorizing antimicrobial agent-containing hydrophilic resin. CONSTITUTION:The aimed absorbing material for toilet stool of a pet such as dog or cat obtained by coating the surface of foam of grains (e.g. pop corn- like body obtained by heating and exploding foxtail millet, rice and soybean, etc.) with a hydrophilic resin (e.g. dextrin or vinyl acetate-crotonic acid copolymer) containing a deodorizing antimicrobial agent (preferably metal zeolite). |
