PURPOSE:To exactly control the sending amount of sheets by a method in which sheets are sent in an amount more than control sending amount by rotation of a feed roller, and the sheets are set back by as much as distance as the excessive amount of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:Since a feedback roller 3 is continuously turned in the direction of arrow, as soon as the rotation of the feed roller 6 is freed, a sheet 3 is retreated and the feed roller 6 is inversely turned. Thus, a gear 10'' is coupled with a ratchet 11, whereby a ratchet wheel 10 is stopped by reverse turning and the sheet is stopped. Since the sending amount of the sheet 30 can be exactly controlled, the dimension between adjacent cylinders 1 is beforehand regulated in order to perform exactly a multi-color printing without color deviation. Also, by moving the ratchet 11 toward the turning direction of the ratchet wheel 10, the sending amount of the sheet can be controlled regardless of the pitch of the teeth 10' of the ratchet wheel 10. |
