PURPOSE:To perform copying with optimum image density and to reduce copying cost by judging and storing the recovery state of a photosensitive body from fatigue and rewriting the control data of electrostatic charging output for supplying charge to the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The internal temperature (of an image forming device) at the point of time when the main power source of the image forming device 2 is turned on is detected by a thermistor 60. Whether the photosensitive body 42 is thoroughly recovered from the fatigue is judged and stored in a storage device, and the data for controlling the electrostatic charging output from an electrostatic charging device 41 for supplying the charge to the photosensitive body 42 is rewitten. Namely, the electrostatic charging output of the device 41 for supplying the charge to the photosensitive body 42 is newly controlled from the point of time when the main power source of the device 2 is turned on. Therefore, the output of the device 41 for supplying the charge to the photosensitive body 42 is more accurately corrected and the image of an original is copied with the stable image density. Thus, the image of the original is copied with the optimum image density whether the acting time or the downtime of the image forming device 2 is long or short and whatever circumstances are, and the copying cost is reduced. |
