PURPOSE:To obtain a round mirror-shaped rice cake capable of readily breaking the hardened rice cake by partially cutting off the rice. cake in the formed soft round mirror-shaped rice cake and embedding an inserting splitting tool splittable into several pieces therein. CONSTITUTION:A just pounded rice cake (4a) is stuffed in a recessed mold for a round mirror-shaped rice cake having a square flange 2 on the base and an inserting and splitting tool 5 [composed of templates 6 having an optional shape of a vertical cross section a little contracted from that of the round mirror-shaped rice cake (4a) and prepared by bending at an optional angle at the central vertical lines and combining the plural templates with the central vertical lines thereof, fusing the outer peripheries except the bottom 7, etc., connecting and integrating the templates] constructed from a synthetic resin, etc., nontoxic to human bodies is pushed from the bottom into the rice cake (4a) while the rice cake (4a) is soft and embedded therein to carry out vacuum packaging. Thereby, the objective round mirror-shaped rice cake is obtained. |
