S An energy converter comprising a frame (1) and a rotor. The rotor comprises a hollow shaft (2) journalled around a fixed shaft (17) of the frame and four set is three vanes (3). Each vane has two spokes between which three blades are mounted for swinging movement. Blades (8) are comprised by leaves (11), interconnected for hinging movement relative to each other, and cooperate with a stop. Mounted on one end of shaft (2) is a gear wheel (4). Screen plates (20) are arranged at the other end and between the sets of vanes. Screen plates (20) are connected to frame (1) by a bridge (23) and extend over the half of the rotor where vanes (3) are active, that is to say, where their blades (8) are contact with the stops. |
