PURPOSE:To attain phase control even when an information signal is subject to modulation attended with an amplitude change by sending an information signal, an index signal or a pilot signal while they are subjected to spread spectrum processing and allowing a receiver side to control a phase of a 2nd code based on the index signal or the pilot signal. CONSTITUTION:An information signal from an information signal generating section 20 and an index signal or a pilot signal from an index signal generating section 21 are added, a 1st code from a 1st code generating section 23 is multiplied with the result to spread a spectrum of the sum signal, and a transmission section 25 sends the result via a transmission antenna 26. A received signal and a 2nd code from a 2nd code generating section 32 are fed to an inverse spread section 33 at a receiver side, in which the spectrum of the received signal is subject to inverse spread, the information signal is extracted by a 1st filter 34 and a demodulation section 38 demodulates the signal. A phase control section 37 varies the phase of the 2nd code relatively with respect to the 1st code to detect the phase state of the 2nd code, the phase of the 2nd code is adjusted based on a change in the output from a detection section 36 to control the phase of the code so that the phase difference between the codes is made zero. |
