PURPOSE:To lighten the burden required for processing imposed on a data processor by transferring multilevel image data in a data format that an output device can decide and receive with its function, and permitting the output device to receive said data. CONSTITUTION:A data processor 1 is provided with a reading means 3 that switches 1st memory planes A-N in the prescribed order and reads the multilevel image data, and a transmission means 4. It arrays and transmits an attribute information 5, which is composed of an information 10 showing the presence or absence of a color table, a color table 9, the number 11 of 1st memory planes and a plane order data 12, as transfer data together with the multilevel image data. The output device 2 has an analysis means 6 analyzing the attribute information 5, a storage means 8 storing the multilevel image data and a processing means 7 processing the color table and a color table processing mechanism. |
