摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the peeling of a transparent conductive film from an over coating layer and the cracking of this film by constituting the transparent conductive film by using a material which consists essentially of the oxide of indium and time and has >=900cm<-1> and <=3200cm<-1> coefft. of light absorption to 550nm wavelength. CONSTITUTION:This display device has a transparent electrode layer 23 essentially consisting of the oxide of the indium and tin and having >=900cm<-1> and 3200cm<-1> coefft. of light absorption to 550nm wavelength on the over coat layer 21. Namely, the transparent conductive film 23 which has the coefft. of thermal expansion approximate to the coefft. of thermal expansion of the over coating layer 21 and has the large Van der Waals force acting with the over coating layer is obtd. by specifying the constitution of the transparent conductive film 23. The peeling of the over coating layer 21 and the transparent conductive film 23 is obviated in this way even if oriented films or sealants are calcined at a high temp. The color liquid crystal display device having excellent display characteristics is thus obtd.
