Disabled-valve device for an internal-combustion engine, characterised in that it comprises a single rotary pusher (1) for the two intake valves (2) and (3) of each of the engine cylinders, said rotary pusher (1) having a closed bearing surface (4) for one of the intake valves (2) and an open bearing face (5) for the other intake valve (3); that is to say, this open bearing face (5) opens into a hole (6) passing right through said rotary pusher (1), in such a way that, in the first rotary position of said single rotary pusher (1), the second intake valve (3) is blocked on its seat; the single rotary pusher (1) being equipped with an oblong operating hole (7) which is actuated by a rotation control system. <IMAGE>
