<p>The invention relates to a method of reproduction by blackline relief engraving on the surface of a support made of hard material of a design for decorative use in which the light zones of the design are hollowed out and in which the zones which are to come into shade are spared. This method consists: - in a first phase of tracing on said support hollows which are cut so as to delimit in relief on said surface a frame of regular geometric unit motifs, - and in a second stage of removing the regular geometric unit motifs in relief corresponding to said light zones of the design for decorative use so as only to leave apparent the geometric unit motifs corresponding to the zones of shade. Applications: commemorative monuments, elements of modern sculpture, funeral steles, giant frescoes, facade coverings, logos etc.</p> |
