<p>A light device for a bicycle includes a hollow main casing 20 to be attached to a handlebar stem of the bicycle , a first magnet member 36, a second magnet member 38 having a polarity opposite to that of the first magnet member 36, a coil member 37 disposed between the first and second magnet members 36, 38, and a rotary magnet piece 35 disposed adjacent to the first and second magnet members 36, 38. The first and second magnet members 36, 38, the coil member 37 and the rotary magnet member 35 are arranged inside the main casing 20. The rotary magnet member 35 rotates with the front wheel of the bicycle. A light casing 41 is attached to a front open end A of the main casing 20. A light bulb 42 is disposed inside the light casing 41 and is electrically connected to the coil member 37. The rotation of the rotary magnet piece 35 induces electric current in the coil member 37 which powers the light bulb 42. <IMAGE></p> |
