<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the control of a magnetic head to a magnetic tape and to execute recording and reproducing with high accuracy by regulating the travel of the magnetic tape so that the magnetic surface side of the magnetic tape can be projecting shape or a plane shape. CONSTITUTION:The travel of a magnetic tape 100 is regulated by a guide 2 so that the magnetic surface side of the magnetic tape 100 can be the projecting shape or the plane shape. At an interval to this guide 1, the magnetic tape 100 is interposed and a magnetic head 1 is provided to be faced to the guide 2. Then, information is recorded and reproduced to the magnetic tape 100 by the magnetic head 1. Thus, since the traveling path of the magnetic tape 100 is decided independent of the magnetic head 1 and the degree of freedom for the magnetic head 1 is enlarged, the magnetic head 1 can be easily controlled to the magnetic tape 100 and recording and reproducing can be executed with high accuracy.</p> |
