<p>A rhythm setting section (17) is controlled by an automaton (23), which controls the time of travel of the car as a function of the delay or the advance and correctly repositions the car with respect to a periodic signal synchronised with the cable. The automaton furthermore detects successive identical separations and in this case generates a phase shifting of the periodic signal in order to put it back into phase with the passage of the cars.
