PURPOSE:To easily obtain a figured fabric having steric appearance by printing a resin to one surface of a cellulosic textile fabric woven in specific composition and density, mercerizing the product, crumpling with a rotary washer and drying with a tumbler. CONSTITUTION:A surface of a cellulosic textile fabric having a cover factor K of 15-25 is printed with a resin selected e.g. from a cellulosic reactive resin, condensed resin and emulsion of synthetic polymer and mercerized with an alkaline liquid. The product is subjected to crumpling treatment with a rotary washer and dried with a tumbler drier to obtain the objective figured fabric having steric appearance in high productivity and efficiency. |
