PURPOSE:To obtain the subject synthetic fiber excellent in dust-adhesion proofness, durability and processability and suitable for a carpet, etc., by making to adhere a specified finishing agent for fibers to a specified polyolefin-based fiber. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin having >=20g/10min melt flow rate is kneaded with 1-10wt.% monoglyceride of a >=12C fatty acid and the resultant composition is spun to obtain a polyolefin-based fiber having 0.1-3000d/f single fiber fineness. A finishing agent for fibers containing (A) 5-20C alkyl phosphate or the component (A) and (B) an organopolysiloxane are made to adhere to the obtained fiber, thus obtaining the objective fiber. |
