A vibration-isolating material with natural rubber, synthetic rubber or a mixture thereof as material rubber. Short fiber of less than 10mm in length of staple L, more than 40 in L/D (ratio of length of staple L to diameter of fiber D) and more than 40g/d in the initial modulus of elasticity is mixed in material rubber. Also, aramide short fiber of less than 10mm in length of staple L in mixed in material rubber. At least 60 weight % material rubber is natural rubber, isoprene rubber or a mixture thereof. <IMAGE>
