发明名称 LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To supply light emitting devices which are easy to manufacture and provided with a high degree of light convergence by providing a lens buried in mold resin on the light emitting side of a light emitting chip and positioning said lens on the same optical axis. CONSTITUTION:A first sphere lens 8 is bonded with the light emitting side of a diode chip 3 positioned on the same optical axis of the diode chip 3 and buried in a transparent molded resin 4 under the bonded state. The light diffused and irradiated from the light emitting side is directly absorbed into the first sphere lens 8 and converged virtually in parallel. Similarly, a second sphere lens 9 is buried ahead from the first sphere lens 8 so that it may be positioned on the same optical axis L of the diode chip 3. The radiation light converged virtually in parallel by the first sphere lens 8 is further converged by this second lens 9, thereby obtaining a focal point directly in front of the second sphere lens 2. This enhances the degree of light convergence satisfactorily. In this manner, the radiation light is converged based on two stages, say, the first lens 8 and the second lens 9, which makes it possible to obtain light emitting diodes having a very high degree of convergence.
