The repair method of the bottom bars of the generator solves the problem of exchange of the bottom bars of generator stators, which requires removal of many bars in the close neighbourhood in the existing exchange method. The gist of the solution lies in cutting of the straight part of the stator bar along its both sides and removal of the faulty straight part of the stator bar. The new straight part, whose size is determined in accordance with the faulty one, is mounted instead. The conductors on both ends are purified from insulation and the collar of a rectangular section is mounted instead of a joint, whereupon the straight part of the rotor bar is matched together with both the remaining involute parts of the stator bar, and they are soldered together. Afterwards, the forward collar is mounted on the joint and it is soldered in from both sides and the spaces between the conductors of the stator bar and collar are puttied and rubbed down, whereupon the whole surface is varnished and the wind is carried out by combined insulation under wet conditions.<IMAGE>
