The device, placed in conduct pipes or technological devices, will find its usage at mixing viscous and low-viscous fluids, dispersion of gases into liquids, emulsifying, adsorption, intensification of heat transmission, preparation of polymers, bioengineering etc. Its principle are helical surfaces (1) of a single insert (2), which form at least one polygon in at least one cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the insert (2). The helical surfaces (1) are in contact in the vertices of the respective polygon and their number inside the insert (2) is greater than the number of vertices of a single polygon.<IMAGE>
