The solution concerns the soft intraocular lens made of the hydrophilic water of the swelling gel, where the marginal parts lying outside the optically functional central zone are melanic. The production method of the lens concerns the fact that the central part of the lens is enclosed between two sheets and the free marginal parts of the lens are made melanic.
