PURPOSE:To make it possible for a user to confirm a transferring state easily by displaying the transferring state on a monitor device when an image data stored in a video printer is to be transferred to an external device. CONSTITUTION:When an external device is selected at an output destination selector 17, a switch is turned to a side B, and a memory read-out command is outputted to a memory controller 12 from a system controller 11. Then, with respect to an image data in an image memory 7, a horizontal scanning direction of the image memory 7 is read out at every one line so as to input to I/F section 19 passing through an output change-over switch 18. Also, an I/F control signal 11e is inputted to the I/F section 19, and I/F section 19 operates coinciding with the external device due to this signal, so that the image data is transferred to a host computer 15. At the same time, a curtain control signal 11c is inputted to a blanking controller 8, so that a monitor displaying is performed so as to move the blanking section from top to bottom synchronizing with the transfer of the image data. |
