<p>PURPOSE:To allow the article to fit surely to the lower part of the crotch without being influenced by slippage of an absorber at the time of wearing and to prevent the leak of excretions by providing a pleat part of a specific structure on the surface side of an absorptive article. CONSTITUTION:A nonreturnable diaper 1 is constituted by providing a surface sheet 2 of liquid permeability, a reverse side sheet 3 of liquid non-permeability, an absorber 4 positioned between both these sheets 2, 3, side flaps 5, 5 extended from both side edge parts in the longitudinal direction to the outside in the width direction of the absorber 4, and a gather part 6 which is joined to the surface sheet 2 and is flexible in the longitudinal direction. As for the absorber 4, a water absorbing and water holding material is available, but that which is formed by superposing lamellately or mixing crushed pulp, water absorbing polymer and water absorbing paper is desirable. The principal part of a manufacturing device 10 is constituted so that in the upstream side, gather parts 6, 6 are attached to the surface sheet 2 in both the left and the right side edge parts of a semi-product of the nonreturnable diaper 1 in which the reverse side sheet 2, the absorber 4 and the reverse side sheet 3 are formed integrally.</p> |
