PURPOSE:To prevent the shift and the distortion of an image by providing a delay quantity controller for adding the offset delay quantity to the delay quantity of each element so that the delay quantity given to the element corresponding to an origin in plural elements for executing simultaneously transmission or reception. CONSTITUTION:Receiving signals from each element pass through receiving delay lines 3, 4 and are delayed, respectively. As for delay lines 2, 3 and 4, each delay quantity thereof is controlled by control data. This control data is that which is obtained by adding offset delay data stored in a memory 6 to delay data of a deflection and a focus stored in a memory 5. Therefore, the delay quantity given to the element corresponding to an origin of plural elements for executing simultaneously transmission or reception becomes the same, for instance, between each focus stage of a dynamic focus. |
