WIND POWER GENERATING DEVICE FOR MAGNETIC LEVITATION VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To considerably save weight and space by providing a wind passage having a sound absorbing means provided with an uneven cross section with improved efficiency of air sucking into the wind passage and exhaust inside a structure of a car body of a magnetic levitation vehicle and by arranging a turbine for driving a generator in the wind passage. CONSTITUTION:This wind power generating device provided with a wind passage 11 is so constituted that it makes air sucked from an opening 10 provided at the tip end lower part of a cowling of a first car 1 pass the wind passage 11 of a required length and then, exhaust it from an exhaust port 12 opened at a ceiling part of the vehicle 1. A turbine 13 in the wind passage 11 is arranged at such a required position that is selected so that the air sucked into the passage is appropriately compressed and then made to work, and a driving force of the shaft of the turbine 13 is transmitted by a transmission mechanism to a generator 14 provided outside the wind passage 11.
