PURPOSE:To easily observe a waveform via an oscilloscope and to debug the hardware by providing a loop executing part to loop the same cycles with a command given from a central control part. CONSTITUTION:A man-machine interface control part 22 interprets the command given from an operator and sends the contents of the command to a central control part 24. The part 24 produces the necessary addresses and data via a pattern generating part 28 based on the received command and sends the addresses and data to the peripheral circuits of a microprocessor MPU. At the same time, the part 24 starts a timing generating part 26 to send the timing equivalent to the subject MPU. Then the part 24 instructs the execution of a specific cycle only and a loop executing part 30 controls the cycle. Thus the same cycles can be executed at a speed equivalent to that of an original MPU. As a result, the loop operation is performed in the same timing as a real device and therefore the working and the timing of the corresponding instruction can be observed via an oscilloscope in terms of waveforms. Then the hardware can be easily debugged. |
