<p>PURPOSE:To improve operability, and to reduce the operation mistake of an operator by window-displaying an operation guide corresponding to a parameter being displayed on a display screen as well. CONSTITUTION:When an operation guide display instruction key 2 is depressed, an operation guide corresponding to picture display means 3 displays a status display showing that the operation guide is being displayed on the display screen 1 by a status display means 4, and simultaneously, it reads out the operation guide corresponding to a picture being displayed at present from a memory 7, and window-displays it on the screen. While the status showing that the operation guide is being displayed, its parameter is selected and instructed by operating a cursor 10. An identifying means 5 recognizes the specified parameter instructed by the cursor 10, and sends a signal to an operation guide display means 6. The means 6 receives the signal from the means 5, and reads out the operation guide for setting the corresponding parameter from the memory 7, and window-displays it on the screen 1.</p> |
