<p>PURPOSE:To allow the direct reading of the local time of the places displayed on a disk at a glance by forming the hour hand which rotates one turn a day to a disk shape and displaying the major place names of the world on this disk-shaped clock in the angular positions proportional to time differences. CONSTITUTION:A user turns a ring 10 for moving a reference hand to set this ring at Tokyo and turns a ring 9 for adjusting the time to set the reference hand 7 at the present time of Tokyo on a dial 4 when the user locating at present in the place Tokyo desires to know the local time of the major places of the world. The user knows the present time of Tokyo if he reads the characters of the dial 4 indicated by the reference hand 7. The user is able to know, at a glance, all of the local time of the major places of the world indicated on the dial 4 if he reads the characters of the dial indicated by the place names of the world. If the user is going to stay at any of the major places of the world, the user turns the ring 10 to set the reference hand 7 at the desired place name and sets the reference hand 7 at the local time of this place and the user is able to similarly know the local time of the other major place.</p> |
