PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition, containing tetrahydroabietic acid resin or dehydroabietic acid resin, capable of improving adhesion and remarkably extending the usable range of recording media and useful for OHP films, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition, which is used for on-demand type ink jet recording heads and a solid at ambient temperature, provides a liquid at a higher temperature than ambient temperature and contains tetrahydroabietic acid resin or dehydroabietic acid resin alone or a mixture thereof. Furthermore, the acid value of the aforementioned abietic acid resin is 40-183 and the metal contents of the above-mentioned resin are preferably <=0.1ppm Cu and <=2ppm Fe. The aforementioned resin is preferably contained in an amount of 0.5-50wt.%. |
