PURPOSE:To obtain an extremely stable output by introducing a correction coefficient in consideration of the influence of a reflector in the vicinity of the part in which it is desired to detect a phase variation, in a phase variation detecting operation of a reflecting signal. CONSTITUTION:A reflected wave from the vicinity of certain specific depth z1 is considered. Time to the depth z1 becomes t1=2z1/c, and DELTAtheta12(t1)-theta2(t1) gives a phase difference of a receiving signal at the time when a reflector moves to a great distance by DELTAz=cDELTAtau/2. Accordingly, when a correction coefficient for giving a phase difference of a receiving signal from the vicinity of z1 at the time when the reflector in the vicinity of z1 moves to a great distance by unit length is denoted as alpha(z1), alpha(z1) is given by alpha(z1)=DELTAtheta12(t1)/DELTAz=2{theta2(t)--theta1(t)}/(cDELTAtau). |
