The subject of the present invention is the modular unit for the automatic transplanting in rows of baby vegetable seedlings and industrial crops that have been precultivated in compressed cubical plugs having dimensions of a few centimetres. Note that all of these row-working units are mounted and gathered in a strong frame which is towed or self-propelled and capable of carrying not only the supply of boxes containing the young plants with their plugs, but also the operator and the row distributing trolley. The unit of the present invention provides for: a downward-sloping conveyor belt for conveying the row of cubes with their seedlings, four resilient rollers made of polished material and rotating in the same direction downwards and towards the centre, a blade for opening the drill that will take the four rollers and the plants, and two inclined wheels for reclosing the drill and pressing the earth around the planted-out plug. <IMAGE> |
