A pressurised air valve (1) has a noise damper (10) attached to its air outlet connection (5). A valve (6) in the outlet connection forces the airflow on to a flow cone (19), due to the shape of its seat (7) and sealing ring (9). The noise damper has a chamber (12) downstream of the valve for ease of mounting of the flow cone. A holed plate (13) and a gauze unit (14) lie downstream of the chamber for further noise reduction. ADVANTAGE - For vehicle brakes, elimination of noise. |
