<p>PURPOSE:To keep a paper retaining lever free from its interference by providing an interlocking means which retracts the paper retaining lever to a retraction position associated with starting of a tray detecting member. CONSTITUTION:When a tray 12 is lifted to a paper feedable position from a lower limit position, a contact part 12b of the tray 12 is detached from a tray detecting lever 75, and the lever 75 is lifted to a full line position as shown in the drawing through a wire 73 with tension of a spring 71 for energizing a paper retaining lever 11. When the tray 12 is lowered to its lower limit position, the contact part 12b of the tray is brought into contact with an end part upper surface 75b of the tray detecting lever 75, and the lever 75 is pressed down as shown by a one-dot chain line in the drawing. In this way, the paper retaining lever 11 is retractively turned to a retraction position in a restricting member 10 through its hole 10a by pulling the wire 73 downward.</p> |
