PURPOSE:To obtain a high efficiency in practical use by sequentially aligning and laminating three solar cells, and inserting a layer made of materials of an electrode and a high resistance to at least one side between the cells. CONSTITUTION:A high resistance material layer 10 is inserted between a Ge solar cell 31 of first stage and a GaAs solar cell 32 of second stage, a surface electrode 25 for the cell 31 in contact with the cell 31 is buried in a high resistance material layer 10, and a rear surface electrode 24 for the cell 32 is buried in the rear surface of the cell 32 of second stage on the layer 10. A high resistance material layer 5 is inserted between the cell 32 of the second stage and a GaAlAs solar cell 33 of third stage, a surface electrode 23 of the cell 32 in contact with the cell 32 is buried in the layer 5, and a rear surface electrode 22 for the cell 33 is buried in the rear surface of the cell 33 on the layer 5. |
