摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the looseness of a continuous paper by providing a driving force transmission regulating means which allows driving force from a driving source to be transmitted to the driving force transmission system of a retreating roller and prevents the driving force in a reverse direction from being transmitted. CONSTITUTION:A gear 17 is provided at a position where it meshes with a heating roller gear 56 attached and fixed to a heating roller 11 when the roller 11 exists at a fixing position. The gear 17 is held by a bracket 18 fixed to a chassis 100 through a one-way clutch 17A functioning as a retreating roller rotation regulating means. The clutch 17A is set so that it is not engaged in a rotating direction, where the roller 11 performs a fixing action, to allow the gear 17 to freely rotate but engaged in the reverse direction to prevent the rotation of the gear 17. Thus, the one-way clutch 17A prevents the gear 56 from being driven and rotated in the reverse direction by an idle gear 55 when the roller 11 is restored to a fixing action state by the rocking of an arm 13 at the time of starting printing from a state where the roller 11 is saved by the rocking of the arm 13 at the time of standing by printing.</p>
