发明名称 WEAR RESISTANT COMPOSITE ROLL
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the stripping of an outer layer in the manufacturing process of composite roll and to reduce the manufacturing cost by limiting the surface hardness of the outer layer of wear resistant composite roll and the tensile strength and elongation percentage of the shaft and also making the joining strength of the boundary part between the outer layer and the shaft more than the strength of weaker side of both. CONSTITUTION:This wear resistant composite roll consists of the outer layer which consists of an iron base alloy where one kind or more kinds than one of the carbide of W, V, Nb, Ti, Ta, Zr and Hf are crystallized from a molton metal in the solidification process and the steel shaft which is metallically joined to this outer layer, the surface hardness of the outer layer is >=70 Shore hardness, the tensile strength of the shaft is 15-55kg/mm<2>, the elongation is >=1.0% and the joining strength of the boundary part between the outer layer and the shaft is made stronger than the strength of the weaker side of the outer layer and shaft. Consequently, the fault of stripping isn't generated in the manufacturing process of wear resistant composite roll and manufacturing cost can be reduced.
