PURPOSE:To increase a cooling capacity so sharply by notching each side of a symmetrical pair of radiator tanks for a horizontal type radiator set up in the lower part of a vertical type radiator, along the cowling. CONSTITUTION:A vertical type radiator 4 is installed in the point midway in a down tube 3 constituting a part of the body frame of a motorcycle, while a horizontal type radiator 5 is attached to a lower part of this radiator 4. The vertical radiator 4 erects a symmetrical pair of square cylindrical radiator tanks 4a, 4b in the almost vertical direction, thereby constituting them into a vertical type, while it constitutes them into a lateral water-flow type which lets cooling water flow in the cross direction. On the other hand, the horizontal type radiator 5 tilts a symmetrical pair of square cylindrical radiator tanks 5a, 5b in the almost horizontal direction, constituting them into a horizontal type, while it chamfers each outer square part at both the lower parts of these paired radiator tanks 5a, 5b along both symmetrical side plates Ca, Cb of a cowling C over the axial full length, and each of tapered inclines 8a, 8b is formed in the lower part. |
