<p>The invention relates to a method for production of concrete, cast ceramics and the like. According to the method, slag or a similar alkali-activated substance is used as the binding agent, and the necessary fillers and additives are mixed into the binding agent in order to form a binding agent mixture which is hardened. According to the invention, a solution which has been obtained by dissolving slag in an alkali activator is added to the binding agent mixture before hardening. When flushing slag is used as the binding agent, a part which is dissolved in the alkali activator used is separated from the slag and at least essentially the whole amount of alkali activator used is added to the binding agent mixture in the form of a solution which contains slag. With the aid of the invention the small voids in the fresh concrete are filled with precipitated crystal particles, so that the strength of the concrete increases.</p> |
