PURPOSE:To obtain the above thermoplastic resin film or sheet with good quality colored zone by a method wherein molten colored resin flowing through a path is heated or cooled by heating or cooling the neighborhood of the path, which is connected to a manifold, of the molten colored resin. CONSTITUTION:Molten uncolored resin is fed through a circular path 17 on one side end of a mold main body 11 to the inlet part of a manifold 12, passed through an enlarged land 14 and extruded through a slit 15 in the form of film. Molten colored resin is fed to the inlet part of the manifold from the direction normal both to the extrusion direction of resin and to the distribution direction of resin in the manifold in the form of a slit. The molten colored resin passing through a slit-like path 21 is heated and cooled by flowing heating and cooling fluid, which is controlled to a certain temperature, in the inner pipe 32 of a heating and cooling pipe 30. Thus, the fed colored resin meets the uncolored resin layer running in a land 13 in layer, resulting in forming colored zone having deep color near the inlet part of the manifold and light color at the part far away from the inlet part of the manifold through shading off. And, the resin is extruded through the slit 15 in the form of film or sheet. |
