PURPOSE:To keep image density constant for a long time by counting the number of image data for forming an image and adjusting the quantity of replenished developer based on the counted value. CONSTITUTION:Image data from an external host equipment 11-1 is transmitted to a dot image conversion part 11-4 through an input buffer 11-3 in a control part and converted into dot image data. Next, an image forming device 11-6 is driven through a scanning buffer 11-5. The binary signal therefrom is counted by a counter 11-7, and when the counted value attains a specified value, an interruption signal is inputted in a microprocessor unit 11-9. The unit 11-9 judges the ups and downs of image forming rate based on the presence or absence of the interruption, and processing for a plain paper or an envelope paper is performed. Thus, the image density is made constant for a long time and fogging is not caused regardless of the kind of material where an image should be formed. |
