PURPOSE:To facilitate the insertion and fixation to a printed circuit board by providing such as constitution as covering the leg part of a U-shaped conduc tor with a U-shaped insulating material, and protruding only the leg part top end and clinch part of the conductor from the insulator. CONSTITUTION:When a connecting terminal is inserted and fixed to a printed circuit board 3, and leg parts 1a of a conductor 1 formed into U-shape are inserted to a printed circuit board 3, and soldered 5 to a conductor layer 4 on the lower surface of the printed circuit board 3. In this case, as the leg center part of the conductor 1 is covered with an insulator 2 having a U-shaped notch, the positional relation in the leg top end of the conductor 1 is precisely regulated, and the conductor can be easily inserted to the printed circuit board 3 by use of an automatic inserting machine. |
