It consists of a casing which houses, inside, three sources of electrical power, time-period counting circuits, start and stop switches, together with memory circuits for storing programmed time periods (in the event that the programming or loading takes place in a support which is inside the actual time-period counter), or magnetic-strip or microchip readers (in the event that the programming or loading takes place in a card with magnetic strip or with microchip), all the components of the various circuits being of the solid- state type.
