Lorry for transporting pallets of the type including a box-type truck (1) with a floor (3), two side walls (5, 7) and a roof (4), characterised in that it includes, close to the roof, a shelf intended to support pallets when these are not supporting a load and, close to its rear end, a lifting platform (40) connected to means for controlling its vertical displacements and intended, on the one hand, to bring the pallets up to the shelf when they have been unloaded of the load which they support and, on the other hand, to lower the pallets from the said shelf when they are to be reused. <IMAGE>
