Removable and adjustable device for introducing pulverulent alloy into a stream of liquid metal emerging via a pouring spout (10) of a tilting pouring ladle (9), possibly equipped with a cover (11), permitting precise metering of the quantity of alloy introduced and a considerable reduction in losses of alloy, comprising a container (1), enclosing the alloy, equipped with an orifice (8) via which the said alloy flows under gravity, characterised in that the said container (1) is rendered integral with the ladle (9) or with its cover (11) by rapid fastening means (17-18), and in that the said flow orifice is arranged at a free end of a tube (4-5) fastened via its other end to the low point of the container, the said low point (3) being such that all the alloy flows via this point when the ladle is tilted, the said orifice having at least two degrees of freedom in order to be brought plumb with and in the immediate vicinity of the pouring spout of the stream of liquid metal which are obtained with the aid of adjusting means incorporated in the said device. <IMAGE>
