Arylorganobromo silicone compds. (I; X = 2,3; R1 = ethylene, propylene, butylene; Y = 1-10; R = hydrocarbon, hydrocarbon fluoride, hydrocarbon chloride, hydrocarbon cyanide; Z = 1-26), useful as antiflaming agent, were prepd. by reacting bromoaryl carbinol derivs. (II) with siloxane(III). Thus, CH3COO[(CH3)2SiO 3OCCH3 106 g was added in the mixt. of compound(IV) 188 g and methoxy terminal group blocked polyethylene glycol 200 ml at 90≦̸C under saturated NH3 atmosphere and then reacted. The reacted mixt. was separated to give solid product(m.p. 26-30≦̸C).
