Tail lift consisting of a triple-sided lifting frame 1 which is at one end swingably fastened in a lifting chassis box 2 which is itself fixedly mounted in a chassis frame part 9 of a lorry. The lifting frame 1 supports swingably at its opposite end a lifting bridge 3 which is arranged to be swingable between a generally horizontal loading-and-unloading position and a generally vertical raised driving position. The lifting frame consists of two parallel lifting arms 4, 5 which at their lower sides are designed with a preferably triangular control curve, the lower side of which forms an angle of 20-25 degrees with the lifting arms. Against the lower side of the control curve 12, 13, an under-run protection 14 is arranged to be fixedly mountable in a position which in the driving position of the tail lift corresponds to a predetermined maximum height above ground and a predetermined horizontal distance from the rearmost point of the lorry. The lifting frame 1 is actuatable to swinging by means of one non-centrally placed hydraulic cylinder 15, and the lifting bridge 3 is likewise actuatable by means of one non-centrally placed hydraulic cylinder 23. <IMAGE> |
