The modular bunks for a temporary dormitory in a civil defence shelter consists of vertical supports (11) with horizontal members (12) and diagonal bracing struts. These are three layers of horizontal supports (2) for mattresses, each with transverse bars (15) and horizontal slats (13). The modules are joined together by bolts (6) through adjacent uprights and by brackets connecting modules set end to end. USE/ADVANTAGE - Easy to erect and dismantle, enabling a building to be used for other purposes until required for a dormitory.
